GoRiderGo first went online in August 2018 to help new Deliveroo riders get a good start, because there is ZERO introduction in delivery, causing many new riders to quit after a short period.
I quickly noticed that working with Deliveroo was nice. Delivery is hard and dangerous: but nice.
Delivery with apps is easy to combine with other things you want to do in your life, such as learning to program, doing interesting studies, or just chilling. For example, I learned to program while doing delivery in the past few years.
I decided to take goridergo offline in 2022. I didn't have enough money to keep the site online (I had an expensive provider I think). We were also all earning much less (and less and less) after the departure of Deliveroo in 2022.
From the end of 2024, we will be working with employment agencies, allowing us riders to earn at least minimum wage again. Therefore, UberEATS earns enough again (4x more than with freelance).
Now I have enough money and grg is therefore back online: and 2x better than the first version. Hence the 2: grg²
