+ Boost & + Quest
Explanation (Explanation (changes with city and period)
UberEATS uses game rules to work with you. If you know the rules, you can maximize your earnings rate.
Boost is a multiplier bonus. When there are a lot of orders to be delivered boost rates can rise to 1.2x or 1.4x. This means you get 20% or 40% more than the standard rate. €4.00,- turns into €5.00,- etc.
Holidays are most likely to get you the highest boost rates. Holidays boosts are between 1.4x and 3.0x.
Go online when boost is on.
Quest is a game where you need to deliver a number of consecutive orders to receive extra bonuses. Quests are activated mostly on rainy days. For example: between 5 PM and 8 PM you get a €3.00 for the first 3 orders, an extra €4.00 for the next 2 orders and then finally €5.00 for the final 2 orders. In total you can earn €12,- extra in bonuses for 7 consecutive orders within 3 hours - on top of your regular fee-.
Payout
Payout is based on distance and time from restaurant to customer.
Orders
Average 2-3 orders an hour.
Explanation
A beginnen delivery rider on a e-bike delivers 2 orders an hour. An experienced rider does about 3 an hour.
How many order per hour you deliver depends on your knowledge of the fastest streets and road to take in your city. Knowing the road is the most important thing for your hourly rate, not how fast you go.
Restaurant order preparation also determines how many order you do. If the restaurants is not on time you will deliver less orders per hour.

Rider App
User unfriendly app
Description
Messy app
App gives confusing map navigation instruction, which for beginners especially is bad.
App map is confusing. Street names are hard to read.
App order information is hard to read. Shows confusing and frustrating animations that only show the address name or only the address number. You have to annoyingly and frustratingly wait for the the right address information to pop up.
App requires a lot of tapping and clicking to find the information that you need. A lot of redundant animations that slow the app, drain the battery and drain internet connection.
App uses a lot battery and a lot of internet connection. It also required you to turn on bluetooth at all times to signal your arrival at restaurants, which makes order pick unnecessarily confusing (you don't know what's going on).
Not all information is easy to find. Even important information is hard to navigate.
It's hard to make an app this frustrating if you tried.
The app is getting worse because of new bugs that make the app unusable at times.
Despite its flaws it does work mostly.
