But keep in mind there is more to think about, like sales taxes, administration, safety on the road, ebike selection and banking.
Uber Eats vs Deliveroo

There are three different delivery services that you can work for or work with. They are Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Thuisbezorgd.
Thuisbezorgd is not a freelance delivery platform. Thuisbezorgd exclusively works with employees, so it’s not possible to register a freelance account with them. You can try to become an employer, but there is an intake and an interview process to pass.
Uber Eats and Deliveroo are freelance delivery platforms. This means you work with them instead of for them (there is a difference!). There is no interview process.
As soon as you complete your registration for an account, you can receive orders from restaurants through the Rider app. Registration takes around a week but can take more or less time.
You have more responsibility as a freelance delivery rider than as a regular employee rider. Freelance delivery is harder and you need to learn a lot, but you can make more money.
As a freelance delivery rider you are obligated to keep records about your administration for tax authorities. Always use the right banking apps to make administration easier and less stressful.

Freelance Delivery Riders CAN Make More Money
As a freelance delivery rider you can make more money than a regular employee rider.
Freelance delivery riders choose to go online when there are more orders to deliver. Regular employee delivery riders are online, even if there are no orders.
Freelance riders work most of the time. This is the reason you make more than in other similar jobs.
When restaurants have pick-up orders ready for you in time, you can even make a lot of money!
When it’s busy only accept orders from trustworthy restaurants to keep your earnings high ; )

Freelance delivery is great because it earns more, is very flexible and you can reject orders.
You can always reject orders if a restaurants is unclear about waiting times or when the order is not ready during busy periods. But you can also reject orders if restaurant workers are racist, aggressive or otherwise bad.
You want to work together so you can make more money, but sometimes you have to reject orders so you can do your work.
Being able to reject orders is one of the greatest things about freelance delivery.
Tip: use soft in-ear earbuds during rides.
